Sonny is a fox who often wears a turtle neck with buttons on it.  He lives in the forest with his forest friends.  He is the great protector, often keeping the animals safe from the Bush Spirits. This piece is part of a series of paintings depicting Sonny and his adventures and daily life experiences.  

In this painting, we find Sonny peering into a pool as his bug friend looks on.  He stirs the surface of the water pondering the ways of the forest.  The bug is most likely chatting his ear off about some random occurrence that happened yesterday.  What a little chatterbox that bug is.
