Sonny is a fox who often wears a turtle neck with buttons on it.  He lives in the forest with his forest friends.  He is the great protector, often keeping the animals safe from the Bush Spirits. This is part of a series of paintings depicting Sonny and his adventures and daily life experiences.  

In this particular scene, we find Sonny in the middle of some solid little chats with his bug friends in the thicket.  The bugs love Sonny and they love to chat, trying to him with tales of the forest.
