Amazing Everything: The Art of Scott C.
By: Scott Campbell
Foreword by: Jack Black
“With equal parts style, humor, and insight, Scott C. has delighted an international fanbase with his unique watercolor paintings, illustrations, and drawings. Amazing Everything: The Art of Scott C. is his first monograph, the best and most imaginative works of art in his emerging career."
It is true. This is the first ever collection of my work. Various paintings and illustrations organized into themed sections like Lumberjacks, Knights and Warriors, and Cute Hunter. I've got incredibly clever little insights spread throughout the book that could perhaps delight you, but only you can be the judge of that. Jack Black wrote a splendid little blurb for the book that reads almost like a poem. He is a famous guy and i am pleased and honored that he was able to write this diddy for me. I also wrote a very insightful little introduction with a little look into why I paint what I paint and the struggles of my life in finding that joyful zone. But to be honest, there haven't been that many intense struggles. Spoilers.
Anyway, you might like this book! There is just so much art in it! It would look great on your coffee table next to my other books. Kids really seem to enjoy copying the blowfish character from the book. I suppose the roundness and spikes are fun for them to draw. Who can know for sure. There are also some cloud creatures that barf up rainbows that kids also seem to enjoy. Adults like the David Bowie paintings quite a lot.
